If I was recently hired at Baruch College I would improve the college through the use of new media by adding appointment conference meetings for people who need help in their class. For example if a class is canceled for the day there should be a window of opportunity to join a FaceTime call with the class task questions and talk to peers who you wouldn't normally talk to.
Also I feel like adding a small stand with an iPad next to the lines by the advisement office for example, that contains an app that can hold your name in line. This app can also alert you when your time is near so you do not have to spend hours waiting for a walk in. The same kind of technology can be used for the financial office another offices alike that gain huge lines and long wait times.
